MASONS IN MALTON - CAMALODUNUM LODGE No. 660
A film which explains a bit about Freemasonry
Camalodunum Lodge No 660 was invited to put a display into the Malton Museum - now available to view online. Better in person at the Museum. The Lodge rooms are located beneath the Milton Rooms (which was built over the top of the Lodge building) in Malton YO17 7LX Malton is an ancient market town situated on the river Derwent, mid-way between York and Scarborough. It dates back to pre-Roman times and has many listed buildings. In medieval times Malton had a Norman castle and has also boasted its own racecourse. This has gone but training of race horses is still a main business of the town. A market is held on Saturdays. We are pleased to welcome Masonic visitors to our meetings, which are held on the second Tuesday of every month, details of which can be obtained from our secretary, Membership is open to all men of good standing aged 21 and over (or from age 18 by dispensation). Our lodge is on the level throughout with no stairs access from street level. How to become a Freemason - click here for some information. click here for some information. |
